My husband is in the Army. He has been in the Army for five years and Air Force for five. Not everyone can do this life style but my husband loves it. We did try civilian life but Dan was not happy and when he went active duty, he was proud. Army life is very hard but very rewarding. I have met some amazing people that is family. Not everyone agrees with my husband's profession and has told it to his face. He is polite and takes the commits and does not get told enough "Thank you", or "We are proud of you". I make sure that I tell him everyday, "Thank you for what you do for us", and "I am very proud of you". I am 100% supportive of men/women in uniform. To those who is reading this and has or are in the military, "Thank you for all you do for us". One thing about the Army, we stick together and we are family!
The said thing about this life, not only you have to say "Goodbye", to your love ones for year at a time but you have to say "Goodbye", to some dear friends. I really miss my friends at Ft. Stewart. I have read that an Army wife is to pencil in another Army wife's address. Sad but it is true. I love this life. I have learned so much who I am and what I can do. My daughter is getting to see the country, if it was not for this life, I don't think Dan and I could show her as much as she does. I love you Dan, and I am very proud of you!
I am sooo excited that you have a Blog! Lots of love to you all. <3 Con
