Happy Halloween to all! We went to the church for Halloween and had a grate time. They had dinner (hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and chips) provided and alot of games for the kids. I forgot my camera and I am still kicking myself for that. They had a cake walk but Gracie was not getting into it, she rather play the other games. I wouldn't mind taking home a cake but this was Gracie's night. They apples in a baby pool and you was to pick up the apples with your mouth, it was funny to witch other kids do it but Gracie just pick up her apple with her hand. After we left, we went and rented a movie and now we are hanging out at the house. Couple of our friends are coming over.
Last night Gracie carved her first pumpkin. She was so excited and when Daddy pulled off the top piece she didn't say much about the stuffing. I was kinda disappointed the about of stuffing in it. It was a good size pumpkin and didn't even fill the popcorn bowl half way. Gracie stuck her hand inside the pumpkin and I was shocked, she didn't like it at all. She pulled her hand out and said, "Yucky", and started shaking her hand and pumpkin gew was going everywhere. Gracie would not put her hand in the pumpkin again, so Daddy and I had to finish the pumpkin. Dan and I notice that we did not carve the eyes and mouth very big. I guess we will get better every year. Gracie was happy to see the candle inside the pumpkin. We put it on our steps to the front door. It was raining when we put it out and Gracie was worried about her pumpkin getting wet and wanted to put a blanket on it.

When I think that Gracie can't get sillier, she always surprise me. Dan came home from PT, and he was in one of those moods because he did not get his coffee before he left. He walked in the door (and I had coffee ready) and asked, "Who wants a spanking"? Gracie looked at him and said, "Mommy does". So, Daddy thought that he did not give me my birthday spankings that he would. So I have this giant and shrimp after me and after they was done, my bottom was sore. I am telling you, I don't stand a chance when Gracie is on Dan's side. Just so all of you know, when Dan was in Iraq, I started asking Gracie if she was on the " D-team", when she would though hissy fitts. When Dan came home, he thought that was cute and we have been using it since then. Well, couple of days ago, Dan was being mean. He informed Gracie that the two of them are the "D-team", because they are blood. He knew that would boil my blood using that blood crap. Well, I told him, if we are having a boy, he better be there during the signing of the birth certificate if he wants his son named after him! I did not here another word from him. Boy, the first week that Dan and I dated, he was such a good boy, he didn't even pass gas in front of me, such a gentlemen, boy, not I get lucky if he don't pass gas when we are in public and trys to blame it on me. What happen to my charmer, I guess after he hooked me, the charm turned off! Just kidding, when he wants to, he is a sweaty! I do have to say, there is never a boring moment in our marriage, you have to stay on your toes with him. As Gracie says, "Daddy is swiper, the snicky fox" ( off of Dora).

Birthday Dinner

Dan and Gracie took me out to ear later that night. Dan wanted to take me to a restaurant but he said it is your birthday so we went to Donner House. I loved every bit of my sand-witch. After dinner, Dan wanted to take me to get ice cream but I was stuff but Gracie wanted ice cream. So, Gracie and I shared a cup. I only had two bits of it. When I went for the second bit, Gracie told me to get a "little bit". That turkey is something ease. It was a good birthday!

29 Oct. 08

Today is my Birthday and it has been nice. Dan asked me to met him at the bowling place to have lunch. Gracie and I did and when we was ordering our food. He told the guy who took our order that it was my birthday. I am not a big fan of making birthdays a big deal, except kids. I was getting a little embarrassed and then when the guy brought out our food, he put a candle on my food and Dan and Gracie started singing to me. I am sure my face was red. Well, after we ate, Dan went back to work and Gracie and I had to get stuff done uptown. Gracie and I went to get our flu shots done today and I was really shocked. Gracie didn't cry she just said, "You hurt me, why did you do that"? Well, thirty min. later, she is on the couch asleep and really not a good thing for Daddy and I. 4:00pm is too late for a nap but I felt like this one can slide since she got a shot. Dan wants to take me out somewhere. I know my husband wants to take me somewhere nice but I am very happy to go to Donner House and have my FAVORITE sand witch. I can't wait for my family to come. I will let them have a Donner sand witch and see if any sand witch can com pair. I do have to say, when we leave Germany, I will miss my Donner sand witch!!!

Doctor Visit

I had a doctor visit today. We had another ultra-sound and it looked good. I will be eight weeks on tomorrow. I am still on restrictions but Please, keep our baby in your prayers. So far, God has shown his miracles. At first, they thought it was a tubule, then the sac appeared, then the doctor didn't know if the baby was behind on growth, but the baby appeared, now the baby still appears with a heart-beat and is on track. We still have a long way to go but please just keep the baby in your prayers. Anyone who has had a m/c knows that one day everything is good and the next, it can be over. I am still on pills and shots, and looks like it will stay that way till the end of the pregnancy. I know I have bragged about my doctor but she really ROCKS!! She is very caring and doing everything in her power to make this work. As soon as my computer will let me down load pictures, I will post her picture. I want everyone to see this AW SOME doctor!
Gracie went with us to the doctor and she is calling the baby her baby! She even told the doctor, "Thank you for my baby"! Dan asked the doctor could she see a "Winner yet"? Dan and I will be very blessed if this baby makes it, but if God bless us with a Boy, Dan will be bouncing off the walls.

Happy Birthday Cort

I wanted to wish Cort a Happy Birthday!! We really miss you!! I really hope we can get ahold of you, Gracie wants to sing to you. We wish we could be there on your Birthday! We love you Cort!

Saturday, Oct. 25

Dan, Gracie, and I went to an outlet mall Saturday morring. We really did not find good deals. We did check out a Livi Jeans store. I know understand why Iris told me to get Jeans in the states before we left. The cheapest adult women jeans was 89 euro, and the highest was 200 euro, and if you convert that, it is about $100-$230. WOW!! I was too scared to see how much jeans was for Gracie, lets just say, I will be ordering from Target.com. We ate there in the mall. Dan, Gracie, and I shared two different meals because I was not feeling well and Gracie never finish all her food, so it worked out for all of us. Dan had a Euro dinner, and it was very yummy! Gracie had good old chicken nuggets with fries. All that with two cokes came up to 22 euro, convert that, $29.00. There was a cute children's store, kinda like a children's place but once again, I am not paying 30 euro's for a shirt for Gracie. They had some fun children's park inside the mall and gracie had a blast. I wish my computer will stop shutting down when I try to down load pictures so you could see this play ground. God love computers!!!!!
Later that night, we went to a Halloween Party and had fun. We met some German friends and they invited us to there cook out. I was talking to a German lady that was a Army Brat and her and I are going to get together next week. We are staring to met more and more people but at first, we was really home sick. I do wish that family could be part of one of our children's birth but I am so Thankful that I have met friends that will always be family that could be there for us.

Friday night with Friends

Dan, Gracie, and I went to some friends house on Friday, October 24, had yummy dinner and played Monopoly. I was the first one to loose, I have never done well with that game. Gracie had fun playing with her friends and witched a princess movie. I think it is so cute, Dan is always called Mr. Dan by the Mason's children and Gracie calls their dad, Mr. Man! They are good people and good friends. We really enjoy spending time with them.
That same night, it was 10:00pm, and Gracie had been waiting to sing, "Happy Birthday", to her Papa. Boy, did she hit it or what. She did aw some. Mr. Mas said that about put tears in his eyes. I am looking into putting Gracie in some kind of singing class. She LOVES to sing and when we get into the car, she will say, "Mommy, turn on the nugget on", witch means turn on the music. Dan and I get a kick out of her singing. She won't know the song but will try to sing it. Love that little girl!

Lucille

My husband is a proud owner of a new Harley Davidson. I would post some pictures but most of you know, we have a lot of problems with our computer and it is blocking me again from sending pictures. He loves to ride no mater how the weather is. He has been riding when it is sunshine to rain and even when it is only the high of 35 degrees. He just got saddle bags on it and he says it makes her look even more pretty ( I don't see what he is talking about but it is functional). I guess for the guys who are reading this can understand what he is talking about. My husband named his bike "Lucille", and some of you may not know but that name is one of his ex-girlfriends, but I do have to say that name does fit good with his bike and it don't bother me. I suggested Gracie, but he informed me that his bike is his girlfriend and that is wrong having a girlfriend the same name as his daughter. So I guess you can say, I have been replaced.
Dan and I have been looking at this car for me and I knew this would get under his skin. I asked him, "What should we name my car". He didn't say anything and I said, "What about Justin"? That is one of my ex-boyfriend but he didn't go for that, but I don't like that name anyway just wanted to get my husband going. To tell you the truth, I like Lucy Mobile, but I am not going to tell Dan yet, I kinda like teasing him a little.

Happy Birthday Dad/ Our news

Happy Birthday Dad!!! We sure miss you! I remember as a child that my father and I would celebrate each others birthday's together since our birthday's was only five days apart. Funny thing is, Gracie and I's birthday's is only five days apart too. I hope you have a Happy Birthday Dad!

I was not going to tell anyone till later on but my secret is getting out. I am pregnant again and still very early into it. I have a very good doctor. She is the chief of staff of the OB department. I don't have a language barrel at all and she can look at my records in English and understand them, in fact, she was asking "Why doctors would do that". She has been seeing me weekly for the past four weeks and I go back in for another ultra-sound on the 28Th. For right now, the due date is June 10Th. Dan and I are happy and same time are very scared. For most of you, you know this is my sixth pregnancy and just had a miscarriage in Feb. of this year. I have a lot of Faith in this doctor, she is doing everything in her power for us to have this baby but there is only so much they can do. If you didn't know, German's really don't believe in taking any meds. when pregnant and this doctor is testing me for anything that my have caused the miscarriages but you all know, if doctor's could pin point it, no women would have them. I am taking shots, YUCK! This does not mean that it will work but she see that it is worth the try. I am taking other pills but same thing, not a guarantee. If something happens, I can't say that this doctor did not give it her all. She See's me weekly and may be like this till I have the baby. So, please keep our baby in your prayers. If this baby makes it, you better believe that the world will know God's miracles and our children are very dear to Dan and I. We always wanted a big family but after our first three miscarriages, Gracie gave us hope and gave us our dream of being parents. After our last loss, I thought my night mears has returned. When I got pregnant with this one, I was thinking how lucky and blessed I am that I have been pregnant this much. Many women can't get pregnant at all. This baby will be our miracle baby and Dan and I will more likely stop. I just want one more chance!

Army life

My husband is in the Army. He has been in the Army for five years and Air Force for five. Not everyone can do this life style but my husband loves it. We did try civilian life but Dan was not happy and when he went active duty, he was proud. Army life is very hard but very rewarding. I have met some amazing people that is family. Not everyone agrees with my husband's profession and has told it to his face. He is polite and takes the commits and does not get told enough "Thank you", or "We are proud of you". I make sure that I tell him everyday, "Thank you for what you do for us", and "I am very proud of you". I am 100% supportive of men/women in uniform. To those who is reading this and has or are in the military, "Thank you for all you do for us". One thing about the Army, we stick together and we are family!

The said thing about this life, not only you have to say "Goodbye", to your love ones for year at a time but you have to say "Goodbye", to some dear friends. I really miss my friends at Ft. Stewart. I have read that an Army wife is to pencil in another Army wife's address. Sad but it is true. I love this life. I have learned so much who I am and what I can do. My daughter is getting to see the country, if it was not for this life, I don't think Dan and I could show her as much as she does. I love you Dan, and I am very proud of you!
