Last Sunday, we had a busy day. We went to church that morning. It was a good service about Angles. After that, we went out to eat with the Mason's and had a good time as always. After lunch, we went to a Bazaar that was on post and we found some really neat things there. Can't tell what we got, it is Christmas gifts. We had to leave because Dan had Flag Detail so we went and did that. Well, that night was also the tree lighting on post. It was very cold and they was serving free hot chocolate and cider. That made up for the cold. After some music and the tree lighting they had a surprise for the kids. Santa was coming on a fire truck and Santa was walking across the Field to get to his chair. Gracie was beside herself. She broke away from Dan and I and took off to get Santa. The crowed was laughing and taking Gracie's picture as she running after Santa. Dan got her and he said all she grabbed was his jacket. We had a hard time having her wait in line to see Santa. For a little girl that would have nothing to do with Santa last year is acting like Santa is her hero this year. When it was Gracie's turn to sit on Santa's lap, she ran right up to him and hoped on his lap. Santa asked what her name was and she said "Gracie", and asked her what she wanted for Christmas and I could not hear everything she said but I did hear Dolls. Santa told her to be a good girl and listen to your mommy and daddy! We went home to eat dinner and our evening was not over yet. We was going to a Hockey game next. It is just right down the road from our house. We get there and can't find parking anywhere. Dan and I look at each other and decided to go home, we was pooped. We rented the movie Juno and it was good but we went to be soon after the movie.

For Thanksgiving we spent it with the Mason Family and like always have a great time. We had lots of food and like always, we over did it. We didn't get our afternoon nap in because Dan was kinda at work all day. For the week, he has been doing flag detail so he had to be at work 5am, he is only there for maybe a hour but came home. We got started right away with all our cooking. Then, the NCO's had to serve dinner to the soldiers at 11:30-12:45. So, he gets home and we left right away to go have our dinner with the Mason's. We felt bad, we couldn't stay as long as we wanted to, Sorry again to the Mason Family, we hated to eat and run. Then, we had to leave 3:15, because he had to do flag detail again, so after he took down the flag. We went home and wanted to go back to the Mason's to play games but Gracie was asleep and we was going that way too. We was so tried!! Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
Second Trimester!
WE MADE IT TO THE SECOND TRIMESTER!!!!! Thank you to all who's been praying for us. I know a lot of you put us on the prayer chain and Thank you! I know I still have a long way to go but please keep us in your prayer. I went in the doctor on Monday and did another ultra-sound and the baby was moving all over the place, the doctor was having a hard time witching the heart beat. Sorry for the inconvenience to the doctor but I was happy to see our little one being a busy body. God has really blessed us and showing his work. Thank you again for your prayers!!

Last Thursday, I was helping Dan studying for the NCO Board on Friday. He was really nervous because he was sick all that week and had not been studying. We study ALL DAY AND NIGHT and Gracie was great for us so I could help him. We only took ten min. breaks and kept on studying. I knew after dinner he was ready when he was answering all the questions right and getting the NCO Creed down pat, but you can still see he was nervous. That Friday morning I was nervous for him and wrote him a note and put it in his Class A's uniform pocket. When he put on his Class A's, he looked VERY NICE!! I found out that his Class A's was going to be inspected and I was scared that if that note was found during the board that he would loss points so I told him to check his pocket. It really put a smile on his face and he told me he knew I would do that for him and was looking forward to it. I guess he has me pretty much figured out. Well, he left and told me he would call to let me know how he did. Well, when the phone rang, he told me he did very well and they was a few soldiers who did this. Dan and another guy was close in points but the other guy end up winning. I told Dan I was proud he got second place but he informed me that there is just a winner, no second place. Dan told me he signed up for the NCO Board again in Dec. I was even more proud of him that he didn't give up and going for it again. Baby, I am VERY PROUD of you!!!!!

It is Sunday evening and we are just sitting around and watching T.V. Dan is still not feeling well and Gracie for some reason is very hyper today. I keep on forgetting to put this on my blog. We was ready to eat and we let Gracie pray and it is the same thing everytime. Gracie says, " God is good, God is great, help us for our food, Amen". We know she means "Thank you for our food", but it is just stinkin cute to us. Gracie should say, "Help us mommy cooked, Amen". I can't believe right now that Dan and I are watching Star Track. Boy, we must be getting old or just loosing it. Dan just reminded me that Gracie has also been putting both legs in the same pant leg saying, "Look, I am a mermaid". She is such a careter. Gracie plays with Merle alot. She likes to hook on Merle's leash on and walk her around the house. Merle gives us this look like help me you trader. Gracie is such a busy body. I do wonder if this baby will be like Gracie, boy, I will end up being as gray headed as George Bush when the kids move out.
Hard times around here
I am asking for people's prayers for the families around here. There is a big deployment that is taking place here. Some are already gone and some about to leave real soon. Dan and I was looking at our neighborhood is already decorated in Christmas because love ones will not be here for Christmas so there are celebrating Christmas now. I do know what it is like to not have my husband home for Christmas and it is very hard. You have to put on a smile to make your child happy but the truth is, you don't want to put up a tree. It was very hard to be around Dan's family without him, or even around our friends that we go to together. Nothing feels the same no mater how hard you try. You have memories what you do together for Christmas and people you are around. I look at the women and you can see the pain in there eyes and there is nothing you can say or do to help them feel better during the season. Boy, I would give anything to have those deployments when Dan was gone for only four or six months. The Army use to be like that, but not anymore. I do have to say, when Dan was in the Air Force, they do treat and help families alot. So, again, please pray for the families that are facing the Holidays alone. Some are going to the states for Christmas and some can not afford it and has to stay. I have been informed that deployments are very hard when you are doing them in another country, it is not the same like the states. I know I will be facing one here in Germany and ask God to get me ready for the challenges I will face.

Boy, I am really behind. Well, on Friday, we went to John and Sam's house to the kids could play. The kids always have a good time and nice so that adults could have time to themselves. Sam loves to cook and invited us over for Saturday night for dinner and I was looking forward to it. Saturday morning, Dan, Gracie, and I went shopping for my Ball dress and John and Sam came along too. Well, I did find a dress that I can keep going into!!! I am not a fan of red dresses on me but I liked this one. The owner was trying to tell me about where my dress and the designer, well, I remember it is made from Paris but the designer, I don't know any, so I guess I don't keep up on fashion. All I cared about is it fit and I could afford it. After we was done with dresses, we went on shopping and looking for some shirts that will fit me better. After we was done, I was really getting pooped and Gracie was getting mad because it is nap time. We went to a Chinese restaurant and it was GOOD!!! As we was driving home. Gracie is in the zoon and about to fall asleep. We asked her if she was tired and she say, "I just a little tired". It didn't take long, soon as we walked in the house, she was asleep. I tried to sleep as well but could not. Later that night, we went to John and Sam's place and had dinner. She made Chicken and rice, boy, I could live on that stuff, I think I was the only one who went for second round but it was GOOD!! There was two other couples there as well and we all are from Stewart, so it was fun to hear stories. Dan and I didn't stay as long, Dan was not feeling well. Sunday, Gracie and I got up to get ready for Church and Dan is still not feeling well. Today's semen was great, he really had the congregation's attention. Gracie had fun in Sunday class and was good, so that is always a good Sunday. She made a really cute puppet. I love seeing what crafts she does. We went home and Dan is still in bed feeling poor. In a little bit, Gracie and I have to go to the commissary, FUN, but have to because it is closed on Monday's. Right now, Gracie is wanting to play the "Cat in the Hat" game that Allen and Mandy got her for her birthday. Thank you Allen, Mandy, Brette, and Sam.

I have alot to catch up on. Last Friday, Gracie had been sick. Her asthma was acting up. We was going to have some friends over that night but didn't think a good idea because of Gracie so we had them over Saturday night. We had a good time, a lot of people and a lot of good food.
Sunday, I had to go to the hospital because I spotting. Turned out I was ok and the baby doing fine. The shots I was taking was the cause of it. The doctor kept me for three days to make sure. It was nice that I got to see the baby for three days in a roll. Dan and Gracie got to see one of the ultra-sound the last day I was there. The baby is much bigger then two weeks ago and you can see the baby moving all over the place and the arms and legs going crazy. One point, the baby was waving at us and he/she was sucking there thumb. The doctor got a picture of the baby while sucking its thumb. Gracie likes looking at the pictures of the baby, she keeps on asking the doctor if there is two babies, we keep on telling her that there is just one baby. Don't know why she keeps on asking. I now have three weeks until we are in the second trimester!!! We will be able to breath a little better. I still have to do shots, that I will do til the end of the pregnancy but one of the meds will stop after I am in the second trimester. My doctor looked at me and told me she feels the baby will make it. God has once again shown his miracles. If this is a boy, that is all Gods work. For some of you who don't know, my body my rejects male babies. The doctors don't know for sure but one of the test that Ft. Stewart doctors lost was to test to see if my body rejects male babies. We won't know now because that test has to be done 48 hours after a miscarriage. So, you will understand if the baby is a boy, Dan and I will be talking about this for years to come and how God can work miracles. For right now, Dan and I don't care boy or girl, just to hold our baby and let our hearts heal that our second chance came! I must be honest, I didn't want to give Germany a chance. I have always seen why God has done some of the things that has happen to me and would never change any of it. I was trying to see why God sent me here, now, I can see it and I will always be Thankful that I am here. I miss my family and friends dearly and can't wait when they come here. I use to think that there was no better place to live but the states. It was had at first to get use to the new laws, culture, people, and the recycling here (very picky). Now, I really like how CLEAN this country is, wish the states was like this. The country is pretty. We are starting to met very nice people, but to top it off, the doctors here are great. I am very thankful that me and my family has gotten to experience as much as we have, so I need to thank the Army!

Nov. 3, 2008 My Baby's Birthday
I still can't believe that my little buger is three!!! At lunch time, Gracie and I met Daddy at work and we went to Burger King. Gracie loves it there and she wanted a milk shake. Dan and I did not stop smiling today. We had Gracie open the gifts from Dan and I, Papa&Mema Davidson, Papa&Mema Hanavan later that night. She was so happy. Thank you to Papa&Mema Davidson and Hanavan for all your gifts!!
Gracie is such a funny girl. She has alot of her daddy's personalty. She love to joke and make you laugh. I know when this baby is born, she will have some tough times and might get jealous, but this baby is going to be very lucky to have Gracie for a big sister. Gracie is very caring about babies. She is already Mommy's helper. I know she will be a even more big helper when the baby comes. It is funny to witch Gracie and Merle fight sometimes. You can tell when Gracie is getting on Merle's nerves. Merle will go and get one of Gracie's toys and take off with it, and boy does Gracie get mad. Merle is really getting bad about taking Gracie's food. Gracie will get upset and go to Merle and say, "Give it back More"! Gracie will try to grab it out of Merle's mouth. Dan and I could not imagine Gracie the way she is right now to when we first had her. Dan and I are very proud of our baby girl, we love you Gracie! Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

There is so much to write about. First off, I forgot to write that on October 30TH, it SNOWED!!!! None if it stuck to the ground but still it snowed. I sure do miss the south.
Well, Gracie had her Birthday Party yesterday and turned out very well. Dan and I did not tell Gracie it was her party until we started decorating and her face just lite up. "It's my party, I am so excited"! She kept on saying that over and over. we had a full house in our little place. We had the Mason's, our neighbors, and a couple that was from Ft. Stewart. We just had one couple didn't come, so I do believe the turn out was good. After Gracie open her gifts and had cake. The adults played a game while the kids played. I can't remember what the game was but it was alot of fun! Infact, Dan and I have been playing games every night now for the last four nights and said for Christmas we want to give each other games for our nights together. The game we played at the party, you had to really use your brain and Dan and I would like to own that game. This party was a Princess Party and all little girls was to were there pretty princess dress. All the girls looked so pretty. Gracie had a great time and was still talking about it the next day.

Our Saturday started out well. Gracie let mommy and daddy sleep in, that is always good. Then I heard the door bell ring. I looked at Dan and said, "Was you expecting anyone"? Dan jumped out of bed and said he was suppose to help Mike pick up his new bed. Always nice to have one of your husbands friends to see you in your Pj's. Gracie and I got ready while Dan was gone. Mike and Tina invited us to there house to have breakfast. Boy, this Saturday was getting even better. After breakfast, Dan, Gracie, and I went to the PX to get Gracie's party stuff. After we was done doing stuff. We went home and Dan surprised me with a Christmas tree while he was out with Mike. We have had a hard time keeping trees. The first one, my parents gave it to us. The second one, Dan's father gave us one, but the movers lost it. So, this is our first one we have bought, lets see how far it will go. Dan and I played a game of Raco after Gracie went to sleep. Dan and I love playing games together. I kick his butt by 600 points. This time, Dan did not cheat!! After we was done, Dan just looked at me and smiled and told me that he is crazy about me. Boy, this guy still gives me goose bumps. It was nice to get a phone call from Jim and Katrina. They went to mom and dad's place and took advantage of Vontage and called. There are only three people who call here from the states and when you get a new voice, it makes your day. Thank you Jim and Katrina, miss you guys and love you!!!

Happy Halloween to all! We went to the church for Halloween and had a grate time. They had dinner (hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and chips) provided and alot of games for the kids. I forgot my camera and I am still kicking myself for that. They had a cake walk but Gracie was not getting into it, she rather play the other games. I wouldn't mind taking home a cake but this was Gracie's night. They apples in a baby pool and you was to pick up the apples with your mouth, it was funny to witch other kids do it but Gracie just pick up her apple with her hand. After we left, we went and rented a movie and now we are hanging out at the house. Couple of our friends are coming over.
Last night Gracie carved her first pumpkin. She was so excited and when Daddy pulled off the top piece she didn't say much about the stuffing. I was kinda disappointed the about of stuffing in it. It was a good size pumpkin and didn't even fill the popcorn bowl half way. Gracie stuck her hand inside the pumpkin and I was shocked, she didn't like it at all. She pulled her hand out and said, "Yucky", and started shaking her hand and pumpkin gew was going everywhere. Gracie would not put her hand in the pumpkin again, so Daddy and I had to finish the pumpkin. Dan and I notice that we did not carve the eyes and mouth very big. I guess we will get better every year. Gracie was happy to see the candle inside the pumpkin. We put it on our steps to the front door. It was raining when we put it out and Gracie was worried about her pumpkin getting wet and wanted to put a blanket on it.

When I think that Gracie can't get sillier, she always surprise me. Dan came home from PT, and he was in one of those moods because he did not get his coffee before he left. He walked in the door (and I had coffee ready) and asked, "Who wants a spanking"? Gracie looked at him and said, "Mommy does". So, Daddy thought that he did not give me my birthday spankings that he would. So I have this giant and shrimp after me and after they was done, my bottom was sore. I am telling you, I don't stand a chance when Gracie is on Dan's side. Just so all of you know, when Dan was in Iraq, I started asking Gracie if she was on the " D-team", when she would though hissy fitts. When Dan came home, he thought that was cute and we have been using it since then. Well, couple of days ago, Dan was being mean. He informed Gracie that the two of them are the "D-team", because they are blood. He knew that would boil my blood using that blood crap. Well, I told him, if we are having a boy, he better be there during the signing of the birth certificate if he wants his son named after him! I did not here another word from him. Boy, the first week that Dan and I dated, he was such a good boy, he didn't even pass gas in front of me, such a gentlemen, boy, not I get lucky if he don't pass gas when we are in public and trys to blame it on me. What happen to my charmer, I guess after he hooked me, the charm turned off! Just kidding, when he wants to, he is a sweaty! I do have to say, there is never a boring moment in our marriage, you have to stay on your toes with him. As Gracie says, "Daddy is swiper, the snicky fox" ( off of Dora).
Birthday Dinner
Dan and Gracie took me out to ear later that night. Dan wanted to take me to a restaurant but he said it is your birthday so we went to Donner House. I loved every bit of my sand-witch. After dinner, Dan wanted to take me to get ice cream but I was stuff but Gracie wanted ice cream. So, Gracie and I shared a cup. I only had two bits of it. When I went for the second bit, Gracie told me to get a "little bit". That turkey is something ease. It was a good birthday!

29 Oct. 08
Today is my Birthday and it has been nice. Dan asked me to met him at the bowling place to have lunch. Gracie and I did and when we was ordering our food. He told the guy who took our order that it was my birthday. I am not a big fan of making birthdays a big deal, except kids. I was getting a little embarrassed and then when the guy brought out our food, he put a candle on my food and Dan and Gracie started singing to me. I am sure my face was red. Well, after we ate, Dan went back to work and Gracie and I had to get stuff done uptown. Gracie and I went to get our flu shots done today and I was really shocked. Gracie didn't cry she just said, "You hurt me, why did you do that"? Well, thirty min. later, she is on the couch asleep and really not a good thing for Daddy and I. 4:00pm is too late for a nap but I felt like this one can slide since she got a shot. Dan wants to take me out somewhere. I know my husband wants to take me somewhere nice but I am very happy to go to Donner House and have my FAVORITE sand witch. I can't wait for my family to come. I will let them have a Donner sand witch and see if any sand witch can com pair. I do have to say, when we leave Germany, I will miss my Donner sand witch!!!

Doctor Visit
I had a doctor visit today. We had another ultra-sound and it looked good. I will be eight weeks on tomorrow. I am still on restrictions but Please, keep our baby in your prayers. So far, God has shown his miracles. At first, they thought it was a tubule, then the sac appeared, then the doctor didn't know if the baby was behind on growth, but the baby appeared, now the baby still appears with a heart-beat and is on track. We still have a long way to go but please just keep the baby in your prayers. Anyone who has had a m/c knows that one day everything is good and the next, it can be over. I am still on pills and shots, and looks like it will stay that way till the end of the pregnancy. I know I have bragged about my doctor but she really ROCKS!! She is very caring and doing everything in her power to make this work. As soon as my computer will let me down load pictures, I will post her picture. I want everyone to see this AW SOME doctor!
Gracie went with us to the doctor and she is calling the baby her baby! She even told the doctor, "Thank you for my baby"! Dan asked the doctor could she see a "Winner yet"? Dan and I will be very blessed if this baby makes it, but if God bless us with a Boy, Dan will be bouncing off the walls.

Happy Birthday Cort
I wanted to wish Cort a Happy Birthday!! We really miss you!! I really hope we can get ahold of you, Gracie wants to sing to you. We wish we could be there on your Birthday! We love you Cort!
Saturday, Oct. 25
Dan, Gracie, and I went to an outlet mall Saturday morring. We really did not find good deals. We did check out a Livi Jeans store. I know understand why Iris told me to get Jeans in the states before we left. The cheapest adult women jeans was 89 euro, and the highest was 200 euro, and if you convert that, it is about $100-$230. WOW!! I was too scared to see how much jeans was for Gracie, lets just say, I will be ordering from Target.com. We ate there in the mall. Dan, Gracie, and I shared two different meals because I was not feeling well and Gracie never finish all her food, so it worked out for all of us. Dan had a Euro dinner, and it was very yummy! Gracie had good old chicken nuggets with fries. All that with two cokes came up to 22 euro, convert that, $29.00. There was a cute children's store, kinda like a children's place but once again, I am not paying 30 euro's for a shirt for Gracie. They had some fun children's park inside the mall and gracie had a blast. I wish my computer will stop shutting down when I try to down load pictures so you could see this play ground. God love computers!!!!!
Later that night, we went to a Halloween Party and had fun. We met some German friends and they invited us to there cook out. I was talking to a German lady that was a Army Brat and her and I are going to get together next week. We are staring to met more and more people but at first, we was really home sick. I do wish that family could be part of one of our children's birth but I am so Thankful that I have met friends that will always be family that could be there for us.

Friday night with Friends
Dan, Gracie, and I went to some friends house on Friday, October 24, had yummy dinner and played Monopoly. I was the first one to loose, I have never done well with that game. Gracie had fun playing with her friends and witched a princess movie. I think it is so cute, Dan is always called Mr. Dan by the Mason's children and Gracie calls their dad, Mr. Man! They are good people and good friends. We really enjoy spending time with them.
That same night, it was 10:00pm, and Gracie had been waiting to sing, "Happy Birthday", to her Papa. Boy, did she hit it or what. She did aw some. Mr. Mas said that about put tears in his eyes. I am looking into putting Gracie in some kind of singing class. She LOVES to sing and when we get into the car, she will say, "Mommy, turn on the nugget on", witch means turn on the music. Dan and I get a kick out of her singing. She won't know the song but will try to sing it. Love that little girl!

Lucille
My husband is a proud owner of a new Harley Davidson. I would post some pictures but most of you know, we have a lot of problems with our computer and it is blocking me again from sending pictures. He loves to ride no mater how the weather is. He has been riding when it is sunshine to rain and even when it is only the high of 35 degrees. He just got saddle bags on it and he says it makes her look even more pretty ( I don't see what he is talking about but it is functional). I guess for the guys who are reading this can understand what he is talking about. My husband named his bike "Lucille", and some of you may not know but that name is one of his ex-girlfriends, but I do have to say that name does fit good with his bike and it don't bother me. I suggested Gracie, but he informed me that his bike is his girlfriend and that is wrong having a girlfriend the same name as his daughter. So I guess you can say, I have been replaced.
Dan and I have been looking at this car for me and I knew this would get under his skin. I asked him, "What should we name my car". He didn't say anything and I said, "What about Justin"? That is one of my ex-boyfriend but he didn't go for that, but I don't like that name anyway just wanted to get my husband going. To tell you the truth, I like Lucy Mobile, but I am not going to tell Dan yet, I kinda like teasing him a little.

Happy Birthday Dad/ Our news
Happy Birthday Dad!!! We sure miss you! I remember as a child that my father and I would celebrate each others birthday's together since our birthday's was only five days apart. Funny thing is, Gracie and I's birthday's is only five days apart too. I hope you have a Happy Birthday Dad!
I was not going to tell anyone till later on but my secret is getting out. I am pregnant again and still very early into it. I have a very good doctor. She is the chief of staff of the OB department. I don't have a language barrel at all and she can look at my records in English and understand them, in fact, she was asking "Why doctors would do that". She has been seeing me weekly for the past four weeks and I go back in for another ultra-sound on the 28Th. For right now, the due date is June 10Th. Dan and I are happy and same time are very scared. For most of you, you know this is my sixth pregnancy and just had a miscarriage in Feb. of this year. I have a lot of Faith in this doctor, she is doing everything in her power for us to have this baby but there is only so much they can do. If you didn't know, German's really don't believe in taking any meds. when pregnant and this doctor is testing me for anything that my have caused the miscarriages but you all know, if doctor's could pin point it, no women would have them. I am taking shots, YUCK! This does not mean that it will work but she see that it is worth the try. I am taking other pills but same thing, not a guarantee. If something happens, I can't say that this doctor did not give it her all. She See's me weekly and may be like this till I have the baby. So, please keep our baby in your prayers. If this baby makes it, you better believe that the world will know God's miracles and our children are very dear to Dan and I. We always wanted a big family but after our first three miscarriages, Gracie gave us hope and gave us our dream of being parents. After our last loss, I thought my night mears has returned. When I got pregnant with this one, I was thinking how lucky and blessed I am that I have been pregnant this much. Many women can't get pregnant at all. This baby will be our miracle baby and Dan and I will more likely stop. I just want one more chance!

Army life
My husband is in the Army. He has been in the Army for five years and Air Force for five. Not everyone can do this life style but my husband loves it. We did try civilian life but Dan was not happy and when he went active duty, he was proud. Army life is very hard but very rewarding. I have met some amazing people that is family. Not everyone agrees with my husband's profession and has told it to his face. He is polite and takes the commits and does not get told enough "Thank you", or "We are proud of you". I make sure that I tell him everyday, "Thank you for what you do for us", and "I am very proud of you". I am 100% supportive of men/women in uniform. To those who is reading this and has or are in the military, "Thank you for all you do for us". One thing about the Army, we stick together and we are family!
The said thing about this life, not only you have to say "Goodbye", to your love ones for year at a time but you have to say "Goodbye", to some dear friends. I really miss my friends at Ft. Stewart. I have read that an Army wife is to pencil in another Army wife's address. Sad but it is true. I love this life. I have learned so much who I am and what I can do. My daughter is getting to see the country, if it was not for this life, I don't think Dan and I could show her as much as she does. I love you Dan, and I am very proud of you!
